PIT's waiting area is the Free Wait Lot: take a ticket at the gate, and stays under an hour cost nothing. It's a holding lot only, with no terminal access. Below are the airport's posted drive-up rates; all PIT parking rates exclude 11.5% in taxes.

Rules

Taxes and reservation discounts

Posted rates exclude 2.5% school tax and 9.0% township tax (11.5% total). 'As low as' rates need an online booking at ParkAtPIT.com well ahead of time: the page says at least 7 days in one place and 14 days in another. Reservations can be changed or cancelled any time before the entry time.

No RVs or trailers

PIT prohibits oversized vehicles and trailers in its on-site lots, including taking up more than one space. Violators can be cited, charged extra or towed.

Tips

The Free Wait Lot is free for an hour, but it isn't a cell-lot-forever: after an hour it's $5, then $10 after two hours.
Short pickup and want to walk in? The Shuttle Lot is cheapest for up to 2 hours ($5), but you'd ride the shuttle. The Terminal Garage is $8 for 30 minutes.
Budget an extra 11.5% on any posted PIT rate for taxes.
Driving an RV or towing a trailer? Arrange to be dropped off. PIT doesn't allow them in its lots.
