AUS has a free Cell Phone Lot at 2901 Spirit of Texas Drive, at a Texaco station with food, restrooms and flight information displays. On-airport parking is run by ABIA Parking: the Red Garage next to the terminal, the Blue Garage, and the Economy lot with a 24/7 shuttle. Allegiant and Frontier moved to the Barbara Jordan Terminal on April 1, so all airlines now use one terminal.

No time limit is posted. Pick up on the lower baggage level, or the upper level if the lower curb is congested; the curb is for active loading only.

Reservations, veterans, RVs and special cases

Disabled veterans and Military Honors plates

Vehicles with Texas Disabled Veteran or eligible Meritorious Military Honors plates (no temporary plates) get five days free in the garages if space is available, then the posted garage rate, and free parking for the whole stay in Economy (email ABIA Parking for stays over 60 days). It doesn't cover hourly parking or online reservations: pull a ticket at the entrance and use the call button at the exit. The registered owner must be present.

Reservations

Blue Garage, Economy and Short Term parking can be reserved online for a $1.99 booking fee. Cancelling costs $7.50 up to 24 hours before arrival; within 24 hours it's non-refundable. ABIA Parking says the drive-up rate is the most you'll ever pay. Reserved prices are shown only in the booking flow.

All vehicles must fit in a single space. Economy Parking has no height restriction; the Blue Garage limit is 8 ft 0 in and the Red Garage is 7 ft 8 in. No RV or oversize rate is published.

Tips

Waiting for a flight? The free Cell Phone Lot has food, restrooms and arrival screens, so you can wait there instead of circling the terminal.
For trips longer than a day, Economy costs $14 a day versus $26 in the Blue Garage and $35 in the Red Garage.
Driving a tall vehicle? The Red Garage clears only 7 ft 8 in; Economy has no height limit.
Leaving the Blue Garage between 1 and 8 AM? The exit ramp is closed nightly for about 90 days from October 23, so follow the detour signs.
